Not as good as you'd think

I am a geologist with 8 years in the geothermal industry who bought this book in the hopes that it would help "round out the corners" in my understanding of all aspects of geothermal development.
It didn't.
Do you know how there can be manuals that don't really explain how to operate the product you bought, that you already have to have the knowledge you want to know in order to understand the manual? This book is like that. I really couldn't get it to explain to me those aspects of the geothermal industry that I don't already understand. It didn't seem to do a good job explaining even those concepts I am familiar with.
Like some electronic gadget manuals that were written by Japanese/Chinese/Koreans that were later translated into English, this text is not clear or lucid. Understanding always seemed just out of reach.
Of course, you'll have to evaluate my possible idiocy or incompetence in understanding concepts, but I would NOT recommend this text to any audience.
